Please wait while Windows configures . . .

As of a month or so ago, I get this message that displays that says "Please wait while Windows configures Captivate" every time I try to launch Captivate 3. I even get this message if I just click on a Captivate file (sometimes I only need to open a folder with a Captivate file in it). It repeats this message several times, sometimes failing to open the Captivate file I am attempting to launch. It is acting like it is installing Captivate 3 for the first time.

I get this same thing when I try to record a demonstration - plays the message about 8 times or so then goes into normal record mode. It is doing it on 2 computers so it is not isolated to one machine. The other computer is doing it with a trial version that I installed to see if it would produce the same results as the licensed program. Anyone know the fix for this or ever encounter this before?

I had a similar issue where Windows tried to setup Contribute every time
I right-clicked on a file. Very aggravating. A coworker found a link to
an 'installer cleanup' utility. Search for 'right-click' plus 'installer
cleanup' and maybe you can find the same (I've no idea what it was
called now). I doubt this is something specific to just Captivate, so a
search on "wait while Windows configures" + "installer" | "clean up" may
also be helpful...

Otherwise, deinstall then reinstall CP?

Thanks! I'll give it a shot and report back.
