Project file size too large

Hi again, I just have a question that I hope someone can shed light on. I created a project with an audio file (mp3). My concern is that the project file is very large (200+mb) even if the mp3 file is only around 10-15mb in size. The project only has a few slides containing a few texts and a single picture. Though the published file is only around 7mb, my concern is the project file size. I already checked library tab and clicked on unused files and it didn't find any. Is this normal?

Hi RodWard, I'm using Adobe Capativate 7, version 7.0.1.237. I just checked if there were any updates just a few minutes ago and it said that I had the most updated version.

Was this project upgraded from an earlier version of Cp or created from scratch in Cp?

You may be seeing the early stages of some file corruption.  I would suggest copying your slides from this project into a new blank project shell of the same dimensions to see if that pulls out the bloat.

Hi RodWard, my apologies for the very late response. The project was created in Captivate 7. I'll try out what you suggested and will let you know if it fixes the issue.

You have a very informative site BTW. I will definitely visit it a lot. Thanks!
