I have started planning our course for conversion to Captivate i have a lot of questions.

We have a course that covers 9 chapters in a text book. I want the students to have to pass each chapter before they go on, an then when they pass the last chapter they get a completion certificate and we get notified. They current course has the student  read a section in a chapter an answer questions pertaining to that section, and repeat till the chapter is done.

Can I do 9 seperate quizes in 1 Cp project?

If not then do I do 9 separate projects and then combine them using the Aggregator? Will I be able to have them complete each chapter and get a completion certificate this way? Will it report with scorm this way?

I am trying to plan out out our home study course for out put to an LMS like Moodle.

You can use the Aggregator--if you want the students to be able to pick and choose the lessons and quzzes.  If you want them to go through the training in lock-step, then I would suggest separate files for each lesson and quiz; each Captivate file would be linked to the next file.  So the end-of-file setting for the lesson 1 file is quiz 1; the end-of-file setting for quiz 1 is lesson 2, and so on.  Your LMS will have to track and accumulate their quiz scores.

Hope this helps. --Leslie
