Text Animation greyed out

Greetings and thank you in advance for your assistance.

I am trying to animate text in my development; however, 'Text Animation' under 'T' text Icon is greyed out. Am I missing something?

How do I get to use it?

    Text animation will work only in non-responsive projects with SWF output because they are Flash-based. If it is greyed out you are probably working on a responsive project which can only be pulbished to HTML5.

    You can use Effects which are compatible with HTML5 output.

    You're probably trying to create a course that can ONLY be published to HTML5 (e.g. a Responsive Course) and what you have missed is that the Text Animation widget is SWF and therefore NOT compatible.
