Install ColdFusion 2021 on Mac

New Here ,
Aug 02, 2022 Aug 02, 2022

Hi guys, I need help from you.

I downloaded version Mac 64 bits | English | 964MB. I have a Quad-Core Intel I-7 (2017).

When I try to install it, shows up a security message from my MAC that JAVA was downloaded from an unsafe website.

I went to Security & Privacy and allow permission to install. Nevertheless, It doesn't go forward.  ColdFusion couldn't be installed.

What I can do?

Thanks, Folks!

Hi Andre,

May I know the Mac OS version you are using?

Thanks,

Vikram

Hi André,

Mac OS Monterey is not yet certified with CF2021. Please check the support matrix for the supported environment.

Do you have a forecast of when Mac OS Monterey will support ColdFusion?
Is the ColdFusion Team working on that?

Thanks,

Hi Andre,

As Vikram suggested, it is not the supported version of ColdFusion 2021, however, you can give these steps a try. I have added them in this post.

You could always use Docker, that setup plays nice with the Mac.
