Can't preview in Adobe Presenter 11.1

When I click the Preview options (Preview Presentation, Preview Current Slide, Preview Next 5 Slides) I recieve a message saying "You will need to upgrade Adobe Flash Player before using this option.
Press OK to install the latest player, or Cancel to return to your presentation.". If I click OK, it brings me to the Flash Player end of life page- which of course we all know is no longer supported.

How can I use the Preview functions now in 2022?

    Hello,

We had the same issue on a few pc's. I contacted Adobe Presenter support team and they sent me a link (below) that tells Flash to stop looking for updates.

Below is the email I received back from Presenter Support

Getting Flash error prompt in the following workflows- “Video Insertion”, “On click Themes and Interactions”, “Preview Presentation”.

    Fix for Flash Error prompt

    • Close PowerPoint and Install Flash using “install_flash_player_ax.exe” file and once the installation ends, make sure to check the option “Never check for updates”.
    • Now, launch PowerPoint and Flash error prompt should not appear and customer would be able to “Insert Video”, open “Interactions/Themes panel” and “Preview Presentation”.
    • However, there are few things you should know:
      • Video Insertion- You will be able to insert video and “Flash icon” would appear on stage, however video will load fine in the HTML5 output.
      • Themes Panel- You will be able to open “Theme Editor” window and select the theme that you want to apply, however theme preview doesn’t load and “Flash icon” would appear. However, the selected theme will get applied and you can do “Preview HTML5” for theme preview.

At this point, your best option for previewing is to just publish the presentation and then watch the slides you are looking to check. With Flash being very dead, the preview funtion (along with a lot of other parts of Presenter) is no longer funtional.
