Hello.
I'm investigating Chromebooks and wonder if anyone has any comments about using Adobe Connect on Chromebooks?
I can make some assumptions about how they perform:
Otherwise, I would expect Connect to run just like it would do in Chrome on a PC or Mac for both Hosting and participation. Can anyone confirm this?
With Chromebook use being so low I don't know anybody that has one that I can test properly.
Some key questions I'm looking to have answered:
Many thanks in advance of any advice that can be given š
Ok, I just sat down with a Chromebook and was able to upload files, and do all normal non-add-in functions in Connect.
I believe you should be good to go there.

Then it is likely that the Share pod is too smal to show all the functions. Ask the Host of the room to make the share pod larger/taller and I bet the text button will appear.

We use it for running a class, every day. Adobe on Chromebook is not stable. I experience frequent drops in my mike connectivity. Application not running on Chromebook also creates a lot of problems - for us as well as for students. These are common complaints in my college, from all the instructors (over 100).
Of course, adobe has many other functionality issues too for use as a class delivery platform.
