how to export Adobe Connect recording without watching the entire thing or using the download zip method?

I know about the make offline feature and filename.zip?download=zip methods.

Is there an easier way to download a recording from Adobe Connect? The Make Offline feature requires a user to watch the entire thing, which is not feasible for us because most of our recordings are more than 90mins long and the zip method is out of our capabilities.

It seems like a logical function to have...am I missing something?

Thank you for your input.

The Make Offline option is the only way Connect offers to get a video version of your recording. You can use a screen capture tool, but that process is almost identical to what Connect offers.

Using the zip of the source files for the recording can be difficult and will always end up looking different than your recording on Connect.

So, no, you are not missing anything. You can have the offline recording happening in the background, so long as you aren't doing anything too processor or bandwidth intensive, or you can start the recording as you leave for the day and just let it record while you are not there.
