Moving Content to a New LMS

We are getting ready to transition from Adobe Connect to another LMS (Cornerstone). We have been instructed to publish all of our content into zip files that we will be handing over to someone else who be uploading the files to the new LMS for us. We have hundreds of trainings (mostly Captivate and Presenter) we're going to have to do this for. We have several obstacles, for example, many of our Captivates were created using an older version of Captivate so we can't even open them to create the zip files, so we're going to have to see if we can obtain an older version of Captivate in order to convert them to the current Captivate version. Another issue is that the new LMS will not provide the functionality to use the "Attachments" feature of Presenter, which we use a lot of. so we'll be having to come up with an alternate solution for this. These are just a few of the issues we'll be dealing with. My questions is this, is there an easier way to move our content to the new LMS? Would it for example, be possible to somehow use our existing Adobe Connect Course (or Content) URLs and have them crosslinked to the new LMS? Thanks. 🙂

Have you considered moving to Adobe's new LMS, Captivate Prime, instead?  We might be able to get the data migrated for you.  Adobe Connect content doesn't move easily, usually Adobe would suggest uploading content from the original Captivate files.  Unfortunately cross linking via xAPI from connect is not likely like it would be from Prime.

Prime does sound like it might have been a good option but we were not involved in the decision making process. Thanks for your help!
