PowerPoint and Custom Brand Fonts

We use custom branded fonts in many of our presentations.  When I upload a PowerPoint into a share pod, the custom fonts are converted to something more generic.

Does anyone else work with with brand fonts and faced a similar issue?  Have you discovered a solve?

Appreciate the help and guidance!

Hi @Kenneth38338337a7ar @TheJoshTrainer ,

To use custom fonts in your presentations, please embed these fonts when saving the presentation. The steps to do this in MS Powerpoint are mentioned in this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/adobe-connect/kb/guidelines-sharing-pptx-files-connect.html under the "PowerPoint file font conversion" heading.

Upload the new PPTX file with embedded fonts and they should render exacly as in MS Powerpoint.

does it do the same if you convert to PDF?

i ran into something similar i suspect. My company uses custom fonts and we have one for regular (book) and one for bold (bold).

if i use the book font and manually set it to bold, Adobe would replace the font with something else. If i changed the font to the bold font, it would work.

hope this helps!
