Screen share: askew, slanted, distorted

Community Beginner ,
May 24, 2017 May 24, 2017

Any one ever experience this before? Thoughts on fixing or preventing it from happening?

This is a screen capture of a Presenter's Screen Share. Using a MAC.

Here are the facts: Adobe Connect V9.6.01

Browser of Presenter: Safari w/ latest Adobe Plug-In (Uploads worked & displayed perfectly)

All 18 attendees (participants and Host) could see this distorted view. Regardless of their machine, browser, or OS.

Would appreciate any advice for correcting this for the future. Can't imagine taking a 12 week course trying to decipher this!

Thanks,

A.

After some troubleshooting with the MAC in question we have identified the issue. Had to turn off the display scaling in System Preferences. Then it was a matter of finding a screen resolution that appeased Adobe Connect. In this case 1280x720.

I've not seen that before. I would have the person sharing their screen try changing the resolution of their monitor to see if that makes any difference. I'd also have them verify that their graphics drivers are up to date. If that doesn't fix the issue, it may need to be brought up with Adobe Support.
