Adobe cc installer not running.

New Here ,
Sep 08, 2024 Sep 08, 2024

I download the installer and go to my downloads folder to run it, but it doesn't show anything, no processes when checking task manager, no nothing. Just doesn't run, one thing I can note is when I click on it I get the loading icon next to my mouse, but after that nothing shows.
I tried turning off windows security, I tried adding the file as an exclusion didn't work.
Maybe its worth noting that this is a fairly fresh install of windows and a pc Idk.
My specs:
Desktop
Windows 11
GPU: rtx 3060
CPU: Ryzen 5 5500

RAM: 16Gb ddr4

install the cc desktop app from here https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop?action=install&source=apps&productId=creative-cloud and use it to install your adobe subscription and trial programs.

if you have trouble downloading the cc desktop app or you see an error message when trying to install, make sure you have a compatible os (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/system-requirements.html), and use the alternative download links at page bottom here, https://helpx.adobe.com/in/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

I already had the installer from the same website(s) you provided, and redownloaded it from the links you provided again just in case, still does not install I don't see any errors whatsoever.
I don't even see the UI of the installer or anything, even when I check the processes in the task manager I can't find it.
I also listed what system I use and what my specs are and checked they are compatiable.

I tried that too, someone told me I need to install microsoft edge webview for this, but I can only find microsoft edge webview v2 (Which is already installed on my system)
Do you have any link to the first version?
It might be important to mention I have the microsoft edge browser uninstalled from my system as well.

webview is unrelated.  do a clean cc install carefully following each applicable step:

uninstall every cc app including preferences per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, again using the correct uninstaller per https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html#sa_src=web-mes...

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

check for, and if available, update your os

if windows is your os, repair all ms visual c++ versions that can be repaired (use google if you don't know how to do this)

if windows is your os update your ms visual c++, if it can be updated (use google if you don't know how to do this)

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app using the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials>

if that fails, you probably have a corrupt user account. google your os and how to create a new one.
