Hi Community - apologies, complete newbie here and wondering if anyone might help.
- I am running Adobe Creative Cloud 5.5.0.617.
- My vulnerability scanner is not happy and reports the vulnerability listed by Adobe here: https://helpx.adobe.com/security/products/creative-cloud/apsb23-21.htmlhttps://helpx.adobe.com/secur...
- My understanding is that I need to upgrade to Adobe Creative Cloud 5.10 to remediate this vulnerability.
I have a cloud subscription - all up to date.
- If I run updates from Creative Cloud, updates for apps do install. However the version of Creative Cloud stays the same.
- I use the Download Center to install Creative Cloud, the same version of Creative Cloud (5.5.0.617 remains)
- If I uninstall and re-install from the Download Center - same version of Creative Cloud is put back.
Wondering if anyone can help - how to do I get to version 5.10? Thanks!

Hi kglad - thanks so much for the quick reply - much appreciated. I have tried this - and individual apps did update - but Creative Cloud is still at 5.5.0.617.
I did also try using the "Updates" option you see in the background of my screenshot above as well. This says "You're up to date!' Alas - Creative Cloud still reports the 5.5.0.617 version (and my vulnerability scanner is complaining about it). Thanks so much - any other ideas? Thanks!

check your hamburger > file > preferences > general > automatically keep cc up to date. is it enabled?
if not enable it and reset your cc desktop app
if that's already enabled, see if you can download an updated version directly using the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html

Hi Kalvyn - thanks for your question here!
- I am running Windows Server 2019
Do you think this might be my problem? I took another Server 2019 box and did a fresh install of Adobe Cloud. The version that was installed here was also 5.5.0.617. Let me know what you think - I am now wondering if I am running on an unsupport OS and this might be the problem. Thanks again!

Yes, that's an older OS so there's an older version of the app that's available. Here's the system requirements to have the latest Creative Cloud app: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/creative-cloud-desktop-app-system-requirements.html
