Ceating forms missing in Adobe Acrobat DC

Since switching to Creative Cloud, I no longer see the tool to create forms in pdfs in Adobe Acrobat

I've triple checked that I'm not using Adobe Acrobat Reader as that one doesn't support the functionality but using Adobe Acrobat Standard.

Also did an uninstall and reinstall to see if that would solve the issue but no luck. Checked also latest updates (which there were none).

I can see under the Adobe plug-ins that Acroform.api is loaded and certified.

Anybody any idea?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
