Creative Cloud Libraries Sync Error

Contributor ,
Sep 21, 2023 Sep 21, 2023

I am running Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop v 6.0.0.571 on my MacBook Pro laptop that is running macOS Ventura 13.5.2.

I am getting a "Libraries Sync error." And it further says that Creative Cloud Services are blocked and that I should check settings on my firewall.

Okay, that's all fine, but exactly what settings am I supposed to enable on my firewall?

A screenshot of the error notice is attached.

Any help would be appreciated.

Stan

Hi kglad,

Thanks for your quick and helpful reply.

Interestingly, after I updated my MacBook Pro today with the current revision to the operating system (now running macOS Ventura 13.6) the problem seemed to resolve itself.

Nevertheless I appreciate the info in your reply.

Thanks again,

Stan

1. Delete all folders that start with “CC_LIBRARIES_PANEL_EXTENSION_xx_xx_xx” in this location:

WIN: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions

MAC: Macintosh HD⁩ ▸ ⁨Library⁩ ▸ ⁨Application Support⁩ ▸ ⁨Adobe⁩ ▸ ⁨CEP⁩ -> extensions

2. Follow the steps of Solution 2 in this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/libraries-panel-not-working.html

Before trying the steps - please, make sure you killed the CCLibraries process in Task Manager / Activity Monitor, as well as you have quit all Adobe related products.
