Norton 360 just found two trojan threats in the following 2025 Adobe CC programs: Media Encoder and Premier Pro. These 2025 updates were automatic from Creative Cloud. Please tell me how this can happen.

When I down loaded the updates from abobe the anti virus software did not flag it. It's been about two weeks since. In that time I've run multiple virus scans on the Mac and nothing has been flagged. Today when I launched premiere it was flagged. Having worked for many years in product development on editing systems. I am keenly aware of "it's not my problem" attitude. Once is an anomaly. Twice may be as well.  30+ is not an anomaly.  Thanks for your input. I will file it away for now.

Same with AVAST field shield alert. Why would Adobe, an US company, include an app with RU suffix?

I had the same thing happen today Jan 6 2025.

Script:SNH-gen [Trj]  (File name: ame.app.ru_RU.dat)  in Media Encoder and Premier Pro.  Downloaded from inside the Creative Cloud app.  My computer did not have any viruses before this download, I check frequently.  People pay good money for these Adobe apps, I would like to know how this can happen as well.

It isn't a needed file for these two apps to work. The antivirus removes them and both programs still work.

The affected file (Script:SNH-gen [Trj]) is in the Russian dictionary inside the install.

Makes me wonder why this file is inserted in there in the first palce if there is no actual need for it ?

It really makes me question the "false positive" idea.
