I am a Creative Cloud member. I use a Mac.
For some time the apps for Illustrator, Indesign, Photoshop and Premiere Pro have put duplicates, one older, one newer, in both the Creative Cloud desktop app and on my hard drive. All of them update regularly and seem to work normally
Is there a reason for this? Can they just be deleted with no issues?
Cheers, Jim
I have seven versions on my older desktop, but only keep two on my laptop. When you update to a new version, there is a checkbox as to whether you want to remove the older versions or keep them. Many people keep the current plus one previous in case they encounter a bug and want to use the older one so they can keep working.
Don't delete the apps, though. Be sure to uninstall from the Creative Cloud app following these directions:

Thank you, Jane.
I think I have properly uninstalled the older versions.
I haven't noticed a checkbox, but might in the future keep a version in case of a bug.
Have a good year.
