ADOBE - a dope platform, but HELLA confusing!

Community Beginner ,
Oct 02, 2021 Oct 02, 2021

Is anyone with me?

You can't open up a PDF that YOU created in Word, without a PDF subscription.

Purchasing the Creative Cloud is separate from Adobe

The software doesn't recognize when you've already made a purchase

You can't use the software until you BUY NOW, even when it shows that your payment has already been taken out

It takes more work to navigate through this software, this platform .  . . than it is to actually use the product that is purchased

There also isn't an option to use an older version of a product, you HAVE to upgrade the newest version

.  . . just lots of frustration with Adobe/Creative Cloud; I may cancel.

You can open a PDF with the free AdobeAcrobat Reader DC:

https://get.adobe.com/reader/

Yes I know you can look at it for free but you can't edit it. Adobe just automatically pops up each time, idk if it's bc I have a Mac or what.

I've moved this from the Using the Community forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the Acrobat Reader forum.

Why? It's useful for the community to comment, since I can't find an email to email the Adobe Team who can assist me with all these issues. Main one being I paid and it's asking me to pay again.

I moved it because the forum you posted in originally is for help using the Adobe forums, not Adobe products.

And this is exactly why I made my post - ADOBE is hella confusing!

And since you're the only one answering my messages...why does it keep showing in my account that I need to purchase Premiere Pro, when I already have. This is SO frustrating! I have work to do.

After reading your first post again, I am moving this to the Creative Cloud forum.

There is a setting to choose whether to uninstall old versions when installing new versions.

You may have several versions of software installed.
