changing installation directory doesn't work

Participant ,

Hello, due to missing space on my initial drive i wanted to change the installation directory for the apps. and, oh wonder, it doesn't work. when i was reinstalling for example dreamweaver, it was still pu on my c: drive, instead of the set up golder on another harddrive. in the cloud settings the other drive is set, but the installation seems to (cursing removed) about that setting.

any ideas?

btw, those themes i was forced to select, have nothing to do with my question. why am i forced to select them at all. they don't make it ease to users to find this, in contrary.

a. you can't change the location of the cc desktop app

b. you can change the location of the apps installed by the cc desktop app:

1. uninstall the adobe programs that you want to move (https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html)

2. open the cc application, click upper left hamburger menu>file>preferences>apps>and change the install location (to a non-root folder on a local hard drive).

3. install the programs you wanted to move.

The thing is, whenever I change the directory, it says "successfully changed" but when I check back, it's still on the default location which is on disk C
