Is there a way to upload PDFs to a page in Adobe Portfolio? I can see how to upload images and videos, but I have some brochure and marketing collateral samples that I want to add to the site.

That's not really going to work- I want to be able to show the brochure and have the viewer click to open the brochure in Acrobat. A single image won't give them the full impression.

Again, not a real solution. If Portfolio can provide video and music upload capatilities, why then is PDF upload capability a no-go? Seems like a wasted opportunity and a HUGE feature omission.

i didn't create the limitations. i'm just trying to help you work around them.  ie, you can't upload pdf's to your adobe portfolio page, at this time.

if that's not acceptable, use a more flexible web server.

Portfolio supports embedded video and music through an <iframe>.  It's not the best user experience for PDF though.  Some may argue <iframe> is awful for PDF especially when it contains embedded content or interactive elements.

That said, Portfolio's EMBED MODULE supports these 3rd party services.

Same frustation and have tried this with 3 other sites and abandoned each. Thought Adobe would work since my PDFs themselves ARE Adobe PDFs! Just thinking now, maybe create a video clip of each brochure and upload that.

Same frustration and suprise, and have been thinking too about making a video. It's ironic that it's a pdf program to which we cannot upload PDFs

Upload the PDF to the dropbox and make a button in the Portfolio linking to the Dropbox PDF.

No.  PDF is media.  It's not a web file. Technically it's a print file.

The best you can do is put your PDF on a file sharing site like DropBox.  Add an external link to your Portfolio page so people can download the file.  They will need a PDF viewer on their device. Either free Acrobat Reader, Acrobat Pro or some other PDF viewer.

The other option is to make a JPG or PNG screenshot and upload that instead.  At least site visitors can see a screenshot without downloading the actual PDF file.

Hope that helps.

Do a screen recording as you scroll from page to page. Don't go too fast but no need to pause too long because the viewer can drag the slider to flip through at their own pace instead of viewing it as a video.
