I have a question for the techs out there. I have quite a number of Creative Cloud files under a community college account where I no longer teach. The account is now closed. How can I recover those files to my personal account?

thanks

you could ask the admin to retrieve the files for you, and then transfer to you.

that's a big ask but there's little security risk.

the account has to be reactivated (by the plan admin) so you can download the account files locally.

Thank You for your quick response. The community college will not reactivate the account for security reasons. Thy have had a complete loss from a ransomware hack and will not let non affiliates back into the system. I guess I'm S.O.L.

For anyone else reading this... you should always have at least TWO copies of your files, do not have only cloud copies

If you do not have space on your computer hard drive use an external device

I use a Sata docking station and SEVERAL 'bare' drives for backup
