Scam Phone calls For Substance 3D

Explorer ,
Jul 10, 2023 Jul 10, 2023

Posting here becasue I'm tired of Adobe doing nothing about it, refusing to warn users, and making the answer a nightmare to get.

We have been reciveing calls claiming to be from Adobe in regaurds to a team member activating a trial of Substance 3D - after getting tossed around from support person to support person, it seems like the answer from Adobe is "yeah, thats probably a scam" - PROBABLY? Why in the word does it take 4 different support techs to look at a phone number and say its probably a scam?

So I'm posting here in the hopes I can save one person the 45m I spent trying to work with support.

If you get a voicemail from (408) 675-3202, it's a scam.

Check that you don't have unusal activity on your account, and then disreard it.

You can only report phishing emails, not phone calls.

Thanks, yes I am aware of call block. I was posting to warn other users because it took me 45 minutes to get straight answer from adobe about whether or not this was a legitimate call.

I manage a team of designers and we have had legit calls about managing our buisiness acount in the past. So I don't have the option to just ignore every call that claims to be from adobe, some of them are real.

I have been receiving emails and calls from that number and she was inside my Adobe account adding and removing users. When I try to call her direct line from her email- it's not Adobe. I don't understand how's she able to add Adobe products etc to my account if it's a scam. Has anyone else had this problem? This is her contact information.

I had same issues and there were tons of scam calls on my number but someone referred a website to me that allows you to find out who is calling you by using its search bar. You just have to put the number on it and click search. You can use their service who called me  and report them.

I received a call from this number yesterday. Apparently from Sunnyvale California. No VM was left.

unsure if it is real or not.

I just received one too, email title "REMINDER #2 - Pending Adobe Individual licenses". I had received an email a couple days prior from a different "rep" regarding "scattered licenses". Searching the number on the original email, results pop up as both an old Adobe customer care number, and Robocall scam number. Both emails came with legitimate-looking @ adobe.com email addresses, but the first email had a couple other suspicious-looking links.

I'm writing these off as a scam too, but it looks like the scammers are getting more proficient at cloning real numbers and email domains, so users beware and be warned!

If you suspect a phishing scheme, report it directly to Adobe Fraud Prevention below.
