Tried to delete Creative Cloud Files Personal Folder from nav and broke everything

This Creative Cloud thing just appeared and I wanted to remove it, but all I ended up doing was breaking stuff. My first choice would be to be able to remove this Creative Cloud folder from my nav section altogether. My second choice would be to leave it there but unbreak it. Do I need to remove and reinstall? Thank you, Adobe Forum!

Not sure what a registry edit is but I certainly do appreciate your response

Peru Bob, thank you so much for responding to my plea for help. I followed the instructions you provided, but did not get the desired result. In the instructions, the blurred parts in your Registry Editor info window mention something about Adobe and Creative Cloud Files, but my Registry Editor doesn't say anyting about Adobe, which is probably why the problem persists. How can I get my Registry Editor to reference Adobe and Creative Cloud Files like yours does? THANKS!

Thank you so much for hanging with this! Yes, I signed out of the Creative Cloud app, restarted my computer and signed back in.

I couple of people have provided the link with instructions on what to do. I followed them carefully, extracting the Unpin files to my desktop. On the left you see the screencap of the Registry Editor that was provided in the instructions. It's blurred out, but you can see where it references Adobe and Creative Cloud. By comparison, mine doesn't, so it's no surprise that it didn't work. How do I get my Registry Editor to know what to Unpin?

Also, you may remember I deleted something. Maybe it cannot be unpinned because it cannot be found? Seems like I might need to somehow fix this problem first?

Genius! Just checked my trash and the deleted file was there. I undeleted it, and that seems to have fixed the first problem 😀 Thank you so much! I will now retry the steps in the instructions and I bet I get a better result. Thanks again!
