Is this some sort of  "undocumented feature" Adobe uses to torment its users?

Problem A:

1) Open CC app on Mac.

2) Shows "a new version off CC is available" at bottom

3) Click update

4) Wait

5) Core services prompts for password

6) Wait

7) Core services prompts for password (again)

8) Same message  "a new version off CC is available"  returns. No update occurs.

This happens repeatedly.

Problem B

1) Updates for Photoshop and Camera raw are available

2) Click "update all"

3) Wait

4) Core services popup for password

5) wait

6) Core services popup for password

7) Apps are NOT updated

I’d rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall (as admin) the cc desktop app using the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html
