Cannot browse through the ebook

Hello,

I have a new laptop (Msi Katana) and installed Digital Editions on it.
Same version as on my old laptop.

ADE starts up and shows the cover of the book. Next page, Prev Page, Scroll Bar.... it doesn't work, it keeps showing the cover, until I close the programme and restart it, then the page I navigated at appears... But that's not a very nice way to read a book.

ADE-Version 4.5.11 (also tried the 4.5 which ran on my old laptop, same result)
OS: Windows 11.

Hope someone can help, cause this is (used to be) my favourite e-reader on the computer
