Cannot open .acsm file

I am trying to open an .ascm file I downloaded from a public library.

I download the file, open up digital editions, try and open the file with my authorized version of digital editions and I get this error:

Any help out there?

Then its a problem with the eBook itself. Try if work if download again if also not work ask your Library to check the file.

mais pourquoi ne peut on pas obtenir de l'aide de Adobe, pourquoi on ne peut pas les chatter? sont ils les seuls ou ont-ils un compétiteur qu'on peut utiliser, s'ils ont le monopole, alors pourquoi ne peut on pas obtenir du service et du support adéquat.

pourquoi avant on pouvait ouvrir nos livres ou fichiers ACSM et maintenant on ne peut pas? j'ai contacté Microsoft et ils m'ont donné ce lien:
