Hi,
I have a customer who's trying to download her ebook in ePub format on a Mac.
After helping her with another license error. Now she's getting this one:
"Error getting license. License server communication problem. E_ADEPT_NO_FULFILLMENT_RESULT"
I don't think I have come across to this one before.
Any suggestions?
Much appreciated.

Everyone who downloads files using Google Books has this problem, but Adobe does nothing. No developer at Adobe has a conscience?

The problem does not seem specific to Google Books. I have the same problem with the free books from Adobe library:

Hello,
I'm encountering this issue on both Windows 10 and Windows 11 - Any attempts to add an ACSM file to ADE results in this error. I've already tried deauthorizing/authorizing with ADE, installing/uninstalling ADE, and deleting the ADEPT regeister key and nothing has resolved this issue. Is there really no way to get someone from Adobe to look at this?

Perhaps by using the Chat by clicking on the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of:
https://helpx.adobe.com/support/digital-editions.html
and ask them to escalate?
I did this a few days ago and they forwarded me to the community forums. At the time, I thought I was the only one having the problem.

To whoever has this problem using Win 11 and books from google play, right now it's unsolveable. I already tried everything you could think of including asking for help from both google and adobe assistants. The main problem here is that the program is no longer supported and until google changes their reading system to something else or adobe starts supporting the program again, your best bet to read books locally is probably from the google play book app on your mobile devices. Until then no reading locally from any desktop or laptop I guess.

Like I said in my post, it does not work in either Win10 (my desktop running version 2) or Win11 (my laptop running version 4.5), whether the book is from Google or anywhere else eg Kobo. It did work a couple of weeks ago, I imported something into ver2 on w10. Not anymore.

I personally think that there is a problem with the verification server of Google and some platforms, and some other platforms are in normal use; the problem is concentrated on the 13th, and it is still not fixed.
adobe usually does not actively deal with free non-subscription software, see things ferment, shelve or resolve naturally.

I talked the adobe customer service again and told them lots of people have the problem , then got this message from adobe. I hope that the problem could be solved as soon as possible.

All of a sudden today the "E_ADEPT_NO_FULFILLMENT_RESULT" has gone away for me. Stoopid Adobe has replaced it with "E-ADEPT_INTERNAL" instead - for the very same booksm which I am STILL not able to download. So frustrating.

Well, as far as I'm concerned, it's all broken again and has been since november 2023.
What must I do? Keep trying until it works? I have 21 books to download from Kobo.com.

Hi!! Several weeks ago I reported a problem with ADE when I tried to open an ebook who I bought from Google Play … (I rememberd you that I didn't have any question with ebooks of KOBO or Others). I just received the following email from GooglePlay and the Issue was solved. (I'm a total-Mac User (MacBook Pro; iPad; iPhone). MANY THANKS for your help. The email's text from GOOGLE PLAY:

Thank you so much for your post. This is now working for me as well. I did not have to do anything specific.
