Export/Import issues from Rhino to Adobe Dimension

Hi there, I am having problems importing an OBJ file created in Rhino 3D into Adobe Dimension. Its a bit more complex than what I previously have imported into Dimension but the geometry is still rather simple so not sure what the problem is, its coming out all warped and triangulated and only part of the model once imported into Dimension. I have attached the screenshots of the file in Rhino and one of how it looks when imported into Dimension. I think the files are too big to post here, if someone at Adobe could take a look it would be much appreciated and let me know where I can send the actual files for sometone to look at. Thanks heaps!

Cheers

Allister

  • the error is in the model... have you got a 3d editor (Photoshop)?

if so then import the models into Photoshop and press the "generate UV"

  • images are not too big

p.s, share the models if you still need help and I'll have a go at repairs
