Hi. When I use the Orbit tool I am only able to rotate on the x-axis so I am unable to look around the object. I'm sure it's a setting but can't find any information anywhere to help.

the online browser had a tool to 'orbit' your model but it was dirt basic and only rotated around the model [not the background image
in Dimension itself you can move the camera to go around the models and you can make bookmarks to remember different camera angles so you don't get totally lost from the spinning 😉

Hello,
You could try doing a right-hand click on the Orbit button and ticking 'orbit around cursor', perhaps that will help?

Thanks for your comments.
The issue is I am only able to rotate on the x-axis so if I try to rotate to view the object from above or below (y-axis) it won't allow me. I have tried to use the right-hand mouse button to orbit around the object and the orbit tool but either way, I am only able to rotate on the x-axis.
I hope that explains it better.

From what you describe it looks like you've activated the second 'interaction mode' of the orbit tool, which looks the orbit mouvements to the horizontal.
When you right-hand click on the orbit tool, is it the first option that's selected? If not, choose the first one, and it should be better...

Sorry, grammar error : 'the second 'interaction mode' of the orbit tool, which locks the orbit mouvements to the horizontal'

Great! I knew it was something simple. Thank you so much.
