64 bit Elements 12 for windows 10

I have windows 10 but Elements 12 tells me I have windows 8 and it is using 32 bits.  How do I install 64 bit version?

Hi janeb6638999,

as per System Requirements, 'Photoshop Elements 12' is not compatible with Windows 10
You could try Windows' Compatibility Mode (Guide here), though...

(On a side note, 'Photoshop Elements 14' would work under Windows 10)

clean per Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

restart your computer

re install using compatibility mode per message 1 and select win 7.

There is no 64 bit version of photoshop elements 12 for windows operating systems, so your 32 bit version is the only version you can get for pse 12.

Photoshop elements 13 was the first 64 bit version of phoroshop elements that is 64 bits for windows systems along with photoshop elements 14 and 15.
