Access to Download Links for 2018 Versions of Adobe Software?

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for access to older installation files for Adobe software, specifically the 2018 versions of Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, and Media Encoder. I have a Creative Cloud subscription, and I’ve successfully run these versions on an older laptop, so I know they’re compatible with my Adobe account and hardware.

If sharing these links here is against forum guidelines, please let me know, and feel free to send them via private message if that’s an option. Any help in getting these previous versions would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

There used to be older links back in the day, but to my knowledge those no longer work and the current Adobe policy is current and one version back.

That's exactly why I started this thread—to find an alternative solution. Adobe's policy change has made it officially unavailable, but I'm wondering if anyone happens to have the 2018 installer files saved locally on a drive, server, or private storage. Any help in locating these files would be greatly appreciated!

I used to keep all the installers on one computer, but I got complacent, assuming they’d always be readily available, so I ended up deleting them from my drive. Now, all I have left is a 2017 version of Photoshop—which, by the way, still works. So, I’m hoping to find other 2018 installation files to rebuild my collection. Any help with locating these would be great!

Matthew, you can find the Adobe applications that are available through a Creative Cloud Individual membership at https://adobe.ly/3Ac71sS.

I would still encourage you to contact your Creative Cloud for Team administrator. They should have the files you are looking for. If you need help, they can work with you to find a modern solution for your needs. ^JW

Thanks for your question, Matthew. Please see https://adobe.ly/4hmzigR where the topic of accessing older CC applications for individuals is discussed.

I reviewed the account you used to post to this public discussion forum, and it looks like you have a Creative Cloud for Team membership. Please contact your plans Creative Cloud plan administrator for additional assistance. They can create and retain older versions for local deployment within your organization. ^JW

Did you actually read the title of this thread? The topic here is specifically about accessing the 2018 versions of Adobe CC applications. I want to confirm this, because your response directing me to older versions in general isn’t helpful in my case.

Secondly, yesterday, I spent over an hour on chat with Adobe support, constantly being transferred between departments. I had to repeatedly explain my issue from scratch, only to finally be told—despite my clear request for the 2018 version—that the best they could offer was the 2022 version.

So, either you’re not providing relevant information, or you haven’t fully understood my request.

Please provide a concrete solution or clarify if accessing the 2018 version is truly feasible.

Thank you,
Matthew

It was determined by Jeffrey_A_Wright that you have a Teams subscription.
Teams subscriptions are different from individual subscriptions.  The plan administrator may have access to versions not available to individual subscriptions.  That is why you were told to contact the plan administrator.

@Matthew Dudda,

2018 is legacyware that's no longer serviced or supported.  You're encouraged to upgrade to no more than 2 versions back for security & support reasons.

Your business/institution may or may not have internal policies that preclude you from using unsupported software versions.  Contact your IT dept admin for details.

Hope that helps.
