When I start my Adobe Application Manager, I see the updates for my CS6 products.
But I want to install another CS6 program.
How can I go from the update screen in the AAM to the install screen from the AAM?

Hi AadMetz,
Looks like you need to update the Adobe Application Manager itself. Please follow these steps:
1. Launch Adobe Application Manager. You should see the updates view by default.
2. Choose the update for Adobe Application Manager and install it.
3. Launch AAM using the newly created desktop shortcut. From now on, AAM will open in the CCM mode by default. From this view, you’ll have the opportunity to download/install additional CS6 products.
Regards,
Amit

I think my Adobe Application Manager is buggy or corrupt or something. My colleague also has Creative Cloud and his Application Manager automatically updated to 7.x My version is still 6.2.38.0
When I open AAM, there is no update to update itself. And AAM keeps showing me the same software I've already updated. And my Photoshop CS6 update won't run. Gives me error code: U44M1I216. And Adobe Story CSC Creative Cloud does not show up in AAM, yet when I try to open Adobe Story CS6 Creative Cloud it says there is a mandatory update. I try to run that update and it gives me an error.
Seems to me, my AAM is corrupt. I would like a direct link to install the latest AAM and I would like to rid myself of the current version. I tried running the Creative Suite Cleaner tool and just clean off the Creative Cloud Installer, but that didn't work.
Help!!!

@lrudeen, the release version of Adobe Application Manager is still 6.x. Maybe you colleague has downloaded a pre-release build of one of our CS7 applications, because of which his version shows up as 7.x.

@Lrudeen the key thing is to try applying the current version of the Adobe Application Manager and then trying to apply the update.
@Amit both my Mac and Windows version of AAM have updated themselves to 7.0.0.62 so it appears we have released the 7.x version. I am not currently participating in any pre-release programs.

Adobe InDesign CS6 8.0.1 update
There was an error installing this update. Please quit and try again later. Error Code: U44M1I216
AI CS6 Creative Cloud Update

To add to my troubles: I just opened AAM 6.2.38.0 and it showed me as needing to update all the software it just updated. Like 15 updates at least.
Something is not right.
Do I need to take this forum thread/discussion to another place?

Moving this discussion to the Download, Installation, and Setting up forum. Irudeen if you need a direct e-mail response please submit a private message to me and I will be happy to request our support team contacts you directly.
Otherwise for your current difficulties I would recommend first obtaining the current version of the Adobe Application Manager. You can find a link to the current version on our download page at http://www.adobe.com/downloads/ in the bottom right hand corner of the page. You mentioned you are using version 6.2.38.0. I just checked and the version I currently have installed is 7.0.0.62. Once you have the updated version of AAM installed please try applying the updates again.
If you still continue to experience difficulties please try downloading the updates directly from our product update page at http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/.
