Adobe CC Error P201 (Mac)

I spent a heafty majority of the night last night trying to download the update for Adobe CC so I could download Photoshop.  Unfortunately, the CC installer would get to about 6% and then display a prompt that said it had encountered an error 201.

I researched this on Adobe's help center, which says error 201 is a network error (which is nonsense by the by), and gave a variety of solutions, none of which worked:

(1) Turned off firewall

(2) Deleted OOBE files

(3) Hard-lined in instead of using WIFI

(4) Tried Booting in safemode and installing

(5) Used the Adobe cleaner and then reinstalled

(6) Checked the firewall

(7) Changed to not use proxy servers

Nothing is working.Can anyone help, or is adobe now in the business of not allowing people to use their products?

Try uninstalling the Adobe Creative Cloud app using this tool

Uninstall the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application

Reboot and download the app again and see if that helps

Theodores10187035, sorry you are facing error P201 when installing Photoshop CC.  Instead of error P201 do you also encounter Error 201 when installing Photoshop CC through the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application as discussed in Learn how to download your Adobe Creative Cloud apps ?   If you have not yet begun the installation of Photoshop CC through the Creative Cloud desktop app then please do so now.

If you encounter Error 201, from within the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application, then please download and install Photoshop from Download Creative Cloud apps .
