Adobe elements 10 and Mac OS x 10

So...I got the Photoshop Elements 10 discs for my Mac.  I put it in to install it, and it says I have to pick the application for it to open in.  I can't find instructions ANYWHERE, and so I'm stuck.  Is there a step-by-step instructional to tell me how to install this?  If not, can someone give me one?

The third disc contains the install files for Mac OS.
