I have CS5 Extended on a disk and it worked for about a year then the serial code stopped working? whats the fix or is adobe scamming me

When/where did you buy this? Adobe CS5 was released in 2010. So if you used it for about a year that would be 2011 we are now 13 years later. Did you just try to install this again on a new computer? Did you deactivate on the old computer before installing on the new one?
