adobe reader contained virus and was deleted

When tried to install adobe reader aih 10 

I get a message Install "reader contained virus and was deleted". it is win 7 and a/virus was tempo. disabled.

I suspect that some program on my system is causing problem but which one?

You should be able to start a discussuon from the Actions box on the right hand side of the Adobe Reader forum.

I do remember now that about a month earlier prior to installing Kaspersky

I had some virus issue hence I purchased Kas.

Would it be advisable to restore the comp. prior to this issues? Would that

fix it?

I just restored comp. to 2011 restore point and now I can open PDF files
