After a reinstallation of Windows 7 64 - problems reinstalling LR

Stationary Windows 7 64

Laptop Windows 8

I've tried to install LR from an old saved unpacked file "Lightroom_6_LS11" on my stationary computer.

When typing in my license I've got this failure message "the serialnumber You have written is corrrect but it was not possible to find a qualified product on this computer". In the list under PRODUCT i don't find LR 6 which I have a license for (just LR 5, 4 and lower). I then tried to install a tryversion but did'nt succeed - the process was about the same and I came back to the same failure box.

I thought that maybe the problem is connected to a non inactivation before the reinstallation of Windows.

I've also have had LR installed on a laptop. Tried to starten that to inactivate it. But but but, it crasched several times. I then tried to install LR again and the installation process worked but stopped on 52%. I then uninstalled everything I could find connected to LR on the laptop and then went back to the stationary computer and tried to install LR again. Same same...

What to do?

Ola as Axel indicated you will need to enter the serial number for one of your previously registered, older copies, of Lightroom.  I reviewed your account and you have multiple versions of Photoshop Lightroom registered under your account.

For complete details, on how to locate your serial number on http://www.adobe.com/, see Find your serial number.  If you have any additional questions you are welcome to update this discussion.

It seems that the version you try to install is an update. In this case the installer look on the computer after a previous version. If he doesn't find anyone you have to enter the serial number of the older version.

Thank You!

I have a license för LR 6 and updated when 6.1 was available, Is i the file "Lightroom_6_LS11" the 6.1 update? If so, is it possible to download 6.0 somewhere?

The problem isn't the installation file; all files were full versions. Only the serial number differs between full version or an update.

Your serial number describes an update version an you need the serial number of the previous version or a installed pre-version on you computer.

Ok, but but...

In the order of Lightroom 6 that I've got from Adobe (may 22 2015) the serial numer is written. It was that serialnumber I used and had problems with.
