Application Manager

In the Creative Cloud App help it says that the old application manger will be replaced by the new creative cloud app. But that didn't happen on my machine. Can I uninstall the application manager mmanually or just leave it? Don't want it popping up all the time there is an update.....

What is your Operating System ?

Also, can you elaborate by "Don't want it popping up all the time there is an update....." ?

Sorry. Operating system is 10.8.4 ......and with 'popping up' I mean that I don't want to notified by two apps that I have updates. By the application manager that came with the cs6 apps i downloaded from the cloud and the new creative cloud app.
