Back up folders not found after installing a new disk

I installed a new disk drive on Lightroom CC and can't locate any backup folders after 2016-03-01.  I run a backup every day when I use LR and the path that shows when I close LR is F:\samsung\mikes 500gb\used for misc pics...\backup.  I've spent hours looking for "used for misc pics..\backup which should show up after mikes 500gb.

I found the catalog for the years 2014, 2015 and part of 2016 but I can't locate where the backup files are for the last year and a half.

Does anyone know what I can do to find the backups?

you can search by folder name, file name or date created. 

but this "I installed a new disk drive on Lightroom CC.." makes no sense.  lightroom is software and would be installed on a hard drive (old or new).

I'm sorry I misspoke.  I installed a larger disk on my computer.  The problem is that I can't find the path shown for saving my work when closing lightroom on internet explorer..  The path on closing LR shows "used for misc pics" and then "backups" and it's not there on my F drive.  I'm not very familiar with the jargon so it's hard to explain what I'm trying to say.
