SlamJam, sorry that you are encountering problems reactivating Creative Suite 6. As Kglad has indicated, there is no way to increase the activation count, and you must deactivate on an old computer to free up any activations. Deactivating can be difficult in 2025, since most computers running CS6 are no longer able to make secure connections to Adobe servers.

what error message when deactivating?

Hi kglad
The error message was not very specific, just something like "Deactivation failed, try it again later" or something. No Error Code or anything of value. I tried it several times and asked also the AI Copilot by Microsoft for help. In the meantime I had a phone call with Adobe support, but could not help me, although they saw, that I purchased the onPrem CS6.

Hi kglad

Gruss, SlamJam

Thanks, Jeffrey. What's actually annoying is, that with any other software, I could just logon to my account and deactivate computers from there. It could be that easy. In my view, it's a decision made by Adobe, not to make such a solution available for customers.

Got a private message after this for E-Mail Support from "Adobe" on that matter and almost swallowed the bait. Now I'm sure, it was scam.

yes, be careful. emails, private messages etc are prime vehicles for scammers to use. <adobecare dot outlook dot com> is the most frequent scammer of adobe customers.

Yes, that works for modern Creative Cloud products, too. But it's not possible with 13+ year-old CS6. It's simply too old.

Thanks Nancy. At least, I could activate my Acrobat DC, that's actually the most used app by me. So, I'm quite ok now.
