I have finally found my photoshop software because my computer lost everything a year ago, and even though the IT guy tried to restore things, photoshop didn't come back nor anything I had on it.
So its out of date as I see elements 15 is now out. Is it possible to upgrade to the newer version. Can I just auto upgrade, do I have to pay? where and how can I do it.
Im really not advanced on computer but really want to start learning about photoshop and actually using it.
I hope someone can help me.
Thankyou
Yes you can install on desktop and laptop. Sometimes the full version gets promotional pricing e.g. at on-line stores like Amazon and Costco which can be cheaper that the Adobe upgrade price. So shop around and buy the full version rather than the upgrade, if cheaper.

You can buy PSE15 at the upgrade price if you have your PSE9 serial number. I suggest you download the free trial and test the product before purchase.
It’s a good way to review all the tools and features and to test compatibility with your computer.
There is no need to uninstall the trial if you decide to purchase. Simply validate with your serial number and the software becomes permanent.

Thankyou for your reply.
I assumed to upgrade it wouldnt cost as much as buying new but it seems to be the same cost from what i can see, which is why i was asking. Do you know if i upgrade if i can install on a PC and also a laptop, so i can work at home or out and about? Thankyou
