Try uninstalling any previous versions of AIR on your computer and reinstall.

I unistalled all my adobe programs. Reinstalled them and it won't let me because it says : An error occured while installing adobe Air. Installation may not be allowed by your admin. Please contact your admin. I am admin and also tried right clickng it and choose run as admin. but nothing works.I am running Windows Vista Ultmate 32 bit.SP2.

Redd1969 I would recommend reviewing Troubleshoot AIR installation | Windows. You may want to also try installing with a newly created adminsitrator account if you are getting a message about having insufficient permissions.

I did what you said to do and still did not work. So I found from Microsoft small program called Fix it Center. I downloaded it (FREE) Ran the program and poof! fixed the problem in less than 5 mins. Not much of a fan of Microsoft. But this really works well and easy to use. Have to give them credit on this one.
