can no longer activate CS6 master collection this is a failure on adobe, the servers no longer exist to activate the software online and they never came up with an alternative. It's a shame after talking to tech support they advised that even though i legally own a legit copy of the software that I payed for I can no longer use it. their only solution was to buy a subscription. No i'm not paying for something I already own, I just want to use the software that I paid for already, and reinstall it on my new machine. Sucks when you can't just input your serial number and your software works like it is supposed to.

What error message are you seeing? CS5, CS5.5 and CS6 can still be activated.

says it's activated on the maximum number of computers, but software was deactivated before reinstalling it on the new computer, my adobe profile shows my serial number but doesn't show the software activated on any computer

your old computer failed to convey the deactivation to adobe's servers. there's not much you can do at this point unless (and this is unlikely) you can re-activate on your old computer that adobe thinks is still activated.

I have the same problem with CS6. I changed computers and each time I open CS6, I get a popup to register again or the software will be deactivated in 7 days. I deactivated my previous copy on the old computer and activated the new download successfully on the new computer. Activation said that it was "verified". But then the stupid popup threat still comes up each time I turn CS6 on. You would think that the popup software would check to see if the registration was already active. Another case of the right hand not knowing what the left hand is doing. I have talked via chat to a support person who verified the ID was registered and told not to worry about the popup. I didn't worry until the eighth day when I could not load the CS6 program. I need to get rid of this annoying popup threat so I don't have to delete and reinstall CS6 every 8 days. What is Adobe's problem?

can you reactivate on your old computer?

no, tech support is saying the servers don't exist anymore, tech support also just told me I can no longer activate from the original cds, I would have to buy a digital license for cs6 to reactivate but that I qualify for a discount since I already own cs6

no one from adobe is going to sell anything related to cs6. scammers will.

unfortunately that came directly from adobe tech support, which means either their techs are reading old scripts or their techs are giving out wrong information, or tech support just isn't any good, first tech told me they would give me a discount on a subscription

Exactly how did you contact Adobe support?
If it was email, what was the email address?
If a website, what is the address?
