can't activate CS6 on new computer?

I just spent half a day trying to move my CS6 from old to new laptop.

So much to use legal software...

I deactivated my CS6, but when I try to re-activate it it ask me for the serial number.

I have it, and once entered it says that I need a qualifying product. CS6 was an update from CS4 (doh!)

Problem is, I cannot find any combination of serial numbers from my online account and product list in the setup panel that works....

I am looking for my CS4 master collection serial number, but of course, it's nowhere to be found: adobe email? not there. No software box. It does not show on Help>license info like any other software... nothing, I have no idea what number is that and what the stupid panel below needs...

Of course there is no support 800 number or chat for this ancient product...

This is so annoying...

Okay, I found my CS4 Master collection box and serial number.

I have registered it too, so I have it in my account, at Adobe.com...

That was the "eligible" product the installation was looking for.

Yet, I had installed my CS6 twice already, and I never needed that serial number... I am puzzled.

Thank you Pattie and John for your (quick) replies,

regards

It appears that your CS6 is an upgrade. You need to enter the CS6 serial and then the serial number of the qualifying version you upgraded from.

Did you scroll down to see if your version of  CS4 was in the list?

Our support staff can assist you with this.  To contact support regarding a serial number or activation issue,  please click on the link below:

The link you provided sends me to the support page, which I have visited over and over in circles trying to find some customer support...

Is there any sequence of "clicks" I am looking for to actually reach a "support stuff"?

Could you advice where do I find my CS4 Master collection serial number?

These are my products:
