I have tried all of the solutions I could find on this website, because this seems like a common problem. When I select the creative cloud installer and try to either select eject or just drag it to the trash, I get this message:
I have deleted everything adobe that I can find on my computer, even the acrobat reader, emptied the trash, and still can't get this thing off my desktop. I searched the activity monitor for anything adobe, "code," "cc," "cloud," "daemon" - nothing I do will allow me to eject this thing. It is making me think it is harmful to my computer. Has anyone had this experience and knows what I can do? I'm running my antivirus software now to see if that can help, but nothing so far.
This is my activity monitor, just to demonstrate that there is nothing else adobe that I can quit:

Default, what type of Creative Cloud membership are you using? I don't see an individual membership associated with the e-mail address you used to post to this public discussion forum.
If you have an individual membership under a different e-mail address, please make sure you use the steps listed in https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/download-install-app.html to install the applications included with a Creative Cloud membership.

I have the same problem. The installer is stuck on my Desktop and I can't get rid of it even when I'm not using any of the apps. I'm not trying to uninstall any apps. I just want the Creative Cloud installer to be gone. I already have the Creative Cloud app.

I ended up being able to get rid of it by first checking to make sure everything with the word adobe or creative or cloud (except iCloud things) was in the trash and deleted, then I restarted my computer, and when it booted up, the installer was gone.
Kind of annoying that adobe makes it this difficult to get their crap off of a computer. That's the last time I download anything except the pdf reader from adobe.
Anyway, I hope the same method works for you.

I downloaded the creative cloud application not realizing that many of the features were paid. That is why I wanted to remove it.

The message says Finder is stopping it. Did either of you try relaunching Finder (from Force Quit)?
Rebooting will also work of course.
