Cannot make folder /cookies: Permission denied (error 13)

New Here ,
Jul 16, 2013 Jul 16, 2013

I have this morning tried installing Creative Cloud, however, I keep getting this error:

cookies dir: cannot make folder / cookies: Permission denied (error 13)

I have used Disk Utility to Verify Dick Permissions, but still get the same message.

Rather concerned that I may have made a mistake in subscribing 😕

Any help appreciated

Paul

Just to update this.

I have been able to download Creative Cloud and Photoshop CC on my Macbook Pro, but am still receiving the same error message on my iMac.

Also, to add, I am using an iMac running OS X (10.8.4), 3.2 GHz i3 processor and 12GB Memory
