Yes, I tried the uninstaller... multiple times. It says it's busy and can't do it right now. It says try again later. What kind of message is that?!

I'm furious. With all these topics regarding uninstall issues, clearly something is not right with these products.

It should not be this hard to uninstall a program. Once I get it off of my computer, I will never reinstall an adobe product again unless I have no other choice. I am taking screen shots of all these topics pertaining to uninstall issues so that I can warn anyone else before they try out creative cloud. I am sick of this thing interfering  with everything I do. I don't know much about computers, but it's real obvious that creative cloud is crashing my computer every time it takes it upon itself to start doing "stuff" that I didn't tell it to do. I keep having to force quit it from the icon and in the activity monitor. Enough is enough. I want it to go away now.

I don't have any problem with Creative Cloud "interfering" with my system.  In all fairness, maybe this is a problem on your end and not Adobe's.  Any chance you've acquired a computer virus or other malware that's hijacked your system?   Better run some diagnostics and perform a thorough anti-virus & spyware scan of your system.   If you can't do it yourself, take your computer in to a qualified service technician who can.

Nancy. When I say "I don't know much about computers" I am referring to programming and the long drawn out command or terminal instructions I have seen in response to the NUMEROUS people asking for help uninstalling creative cloud. Let's try not to push the idea that it is "just me" when there are literally hundreds of requests for help on this issue in these forums and on other websites when they get no help here. That's not going to sell here, today.  What I am referring to is when people give instructions for having to remove this thing manually by commands. It is ridiculous, but what choice do people have when the installer fails for so many people? I am not a programmer so I do not want to mess around in a terminal window. I know better, and that is what I meant by that statement. It should NEVER be that hard to uninstall a program on a computer that is otherwise working perfectly fine. I have worked as a computer and TV hardware technician. I have certainly done my share of building and repairing, not to mention installing operating systems, antivirus, point of sale systems... so on and so forth. If any of the aforementioned systems or programs have to be "dug out", something is wrong. If software does not behave accordingly, an install technician is never instructed to start digging apart a program or operating system... and by no means should an end user be asked to do such things. That responsibility lies in the hands of the programmers and developers.

*AHEM*

I know for a fact that this suite of applications is gathering statistical information in order to help developers market to more customers. Even the statement that "it is strongly recommended to not uninstall creative cloud" on the page containing the uninstaller download is completely and totally inappropriate. Many end users may take this statement as though it will mess up their computer even if they are 100% certain that they no longer want creative cloud or any of it's associated applications. It is clear what adobe is doing by making such statements. Under no circumstances is the message I received when trying to uninstall creative cloud appropriate either. It contains no explanation as to why it cannot remove it... just that it is busy and to try again later. That is absurd considering how many times I have had to stop creative cloud in my activity monitor, and how many times I have had to force quit it on various occasions... so I am QUITE aware when it is running and when it is not, and at that time it was not running. The simple fact of the matter is that creative cloud is trying to interject itself when I have not asked it to do so and when I may be running other unassociated programs that need the resources that creative cloud decides that it wants. I know the behavior quite well and I know the applications it typically clashes with and I WILL make it go away. I should not have to pay someone to remove this.  I do not use these programs and have not used them in over a month after deciding I did not want them. They are resource hogs and if I had known how intrusive they would be, I would have tried something much more discreet that does not insist on itself to this degree. MY computer does not have the resources, despite having the requirements as well as the fact that it it otherwise working just fine.

I attempted two different uninstall options for creative cloud. The first said there were other applications that needed it, yet none of these have been opened in weeks. OBVIOUSLY these programs are dependent on each other because they had to be downloaded as a package. They can be installed together, but they cannot be uninstalled BECAUSE OF each other. You want to talk about a virus, that is virus behavior... very blatant and straightforward. The second approach just said it was busy and couldn't do it right now.

Unacceptable.

It did not take me long, after making this thread, to figure out that I would likely get no help on this forum. It is clear that adobe is not going to stop trying to make a sell even when a person is clearly aggravated. Not all programs are going to work well with all users... and that is a fact that adobe and everyone else on this forum needs to accept. If a person wants to uninstall a program, it is completely uncalled for to make it seem like the person has to go up the hogs rear-end to get the proverbial ham sandwich. That is exactly what is happening here and it is a bad, bad business. The uninstaller needs to be fixed. I know it and so does everyone else, despite who signs their paychecks.

I have not even attempted to open ANY ONE of these programs in weeks... so this thing about "it works fine for you" is completely irrelevant. I wasn't even using it. I decided today that I wanted to re-allocate some resources so the first thing on the list was that darned creative cloud that I have to keep closing. It wasn't even open today.

Stop trying to do hard sells and fix the uninstaller. Is that simple enough?

I don't need any more of this so called advice. I'll figure it out myself. I had my account here deleted (which takes a week... What??!)

and now I'm going to have any further emails marked as spam. Good grief. Talk about annoying.
