Hello, I am fairly new to the CC version and I have only updated my tools this year.
On previous versions I never had a problem with this software because I was able toMy change the installation directory, temp files and downloads onto the other disk/partions.
So with CC, I did change however the directory of the installation but I can not change the temp files.
The current setup is basically I have a SSD where the OS is installed and a 1TB HDD where I have 3 partitions (4 disks all together)
My idea of literally use one of the HDD partitions to adobe CC tools, temp files and downloads...
My reason is simple, I only have a 128GB SSD where it's almost full.... so that is why I need to change this directory because of memory loss, it crashes...
Help please?
Thank you very much guys!!!
Thank you for the update Alanpires.
You are welcome to adjust the location of the temporary files on your computer. This is an operating system adjustment and not a setting within the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application. I found details on Microsoft's web site that may be applicable to Windows 10 at https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/922144. You may want to additional searches or contact Microsoft directly if you wish to map your Temp directory to a different partition.

Alanpires the temp directory which is being utilized is part of your operating systems settings. Depending upon which operating system you are using you will want to adjust the Environmental variables so that your temporary files are saved to a different partition.
What operating system are you attempting to adjust the temp directory setting on? You also mentioned that you have 120 GB on this partition already. What else is using up the space? Do you have applications installed that you no longer use? Is your Music or Video library currently within your User folder on the same partition?

Hello Jeff,
Thank you for your reply.
So I will try to make it simple, my OS is Windows 10 and on this SSD there is basically only the OS and a couple APPs like Skype, spotify... plus I have exclusive use for CC tools only....
128Gb SSD with 45Gb free, but when I start with CC and do some work, save and close all projects, the memory goes to 2Gb free.... the only healthy way to clean it up I have always to close all APPs and then restart them again to find my 45Gb free again...
The thing is I have one partition with 350Gb free and I would rather use this space for 'temp' files then using my SSD cause it tends to crash after some 4/5 hours work... if you know what I mean...
I have changed all the settings I could to not overload the SSD, like google chrome downloads, skype downloads and change all directory folders into other partitions.. It is only the CC that I cannot..
The CC tools however they are already in another partition..
If it helps, my workflow, I use simultaneously Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign as I am always copy/paste, drag and drop mode sort of thing...
Thank you

Please be aware if your 350 GB partition is a standard physical hard drive you will loose much of the advantages of having your OS on an SSD. Every time temporary file is written, by any application or the operating system, it will need to access the 350 GB partition.
