I cant be the only one having this issue.
I now begrudgingly pay for CC, we own Lightroom 5.7 and the CS6 suite outright, that's how it used to be. Whether I had an internet connection or not I could use my software which I paid for anywhere anytime with no thought about an internet connection.
In the office all is good as we have an internet connection. Go out on site where no internet is available and nothing will open as I can't get past the sign in page.
So I thought no problem, I will open my old trusty Lightroom 5.7 and Bridge CS6, only to realize Abobe do not allow the new Camera RAW to work with older software. We use the new Canon 5D Mark IV's and last night I looked so stupid not being able to allow clients to see their images taken, something I promised them they could as I have always been able to do this before the amazing (NOT) CC was thrust on us all.
I have been on Chat with Abobe for hours without any answers....
Any help from anyone????

you need an internet connection to install the software and to sign-in.
if you'll be traveling with a computer that will not have an internet connection, you need to sign-in before you leave your internet connection. if you forget and leave before signing-in go some place that offers free internet (coffee house, book store, airport etc) and sign in before leaving their premises.

I have tried this but when I open the Laptop it asks for a sign in again, very frustrating.

are you sharing your sign-in with someone? is someone using a computer that uses the same adobe id that you're using?

Nope. Adobe are logged into my computer right now trying to sort this out... seems like a clash between older software that we paid for outright 100% and the new dreaded CC

Normally this should not be a problem. Once signed in, if you have an annual subscription, then you should be able take your computer offline for 99 days + one month:

Requiring an internet connection to do anything with Adobe CC is a reason to no longer have Adobe CC. In our area, intenet is sketchy in winter, so zero work being done.
