Creative Suite 6 Master Collection - Mac OS download issue

I have been trying to download Creative Suite 6 Master Collection to my Mac numerous times over the past few months (I have a License for this version).

It downloads until it gets to 1.79 GB and then will not proceed.  I haven't had this problem in the past and do not know how to get past this.  On certain occasions, it tells me I do not have sufficient permissions for this yet I have not had a chance to enter a License key.

I would appreciate any help you could provide.

Thank you.

Hi Kristenw67491626,

As mentioned by teachbit the Creative Suite apps are not compatible with any of the latest operating systems the installers may or may not work.

However, you may please try the workaround given in the following help document to install Adobe CS6 on Mac OS Sierra: Installing Creative Suite on macOS 10.12 (Sierra).

Let us know if this helps.

You did not mentioned the operating system, you are working on. here the answer on the forum for El Capitan or Sierra

Owners of old programs simply have problems with Mac El Capitan/Sierra... none of which is Adobe's fault... Adobe did not change your old program to make it stop working... Apple changed their operating system and THAT is why your old program won't work, not because of anything Adobe did... Also... every time Apple issues an update, there is the risk that an old program that HAS been working will STOP working... bottom line, old programs require a matching old operating system

CS6 and earlier programs have not been tested and will not be updated for Mac El Capitan/Sierra

-which means that you try to use CS6 and earlier at YOUR risk of having problems

-you may get CS6 and earlier programs to install and run, or you may not (some do, some don't)

-Java https://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/dreamweaver-java-se-6-runtime.html may help

Install CS5 on Mac 10.11 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2003455 may help (also for other than CS5)

-also a TEMPORARY security change https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2039319

Sorry - forget to mention OS - it is Sierra.  However, it works on Sierra on another computer for me (I have two Licenses).

Also I can understand the system not working with the software.  However, that shouldn't stop the software from downloading or else the software shouldn't start downloading it in the first place.
